Welcome to returning, a personal challenge to write a poem a day during the month of Elul. I hope to explore themes such as teshuvah (return and repentance), searching for God, and closeness.

And because poems are fickle friends, there’s no knowing where I’ll end up.

By posting these poems publicly, I hope to both hold myself accountable and include my readers (that’s you!) in my attempt to make sense of this spiritually laden season.
